These terms explain how Willing works. By applying or joining, you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy, and to our Code of Conduct. Your rights under New York law are described in the Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older, single, and able to meet in person in or near New York City. Applying is free. Being admitted is not guaranteed. We read every intake and choose members with care, including keeping the community balanced.

Ways to take part

• In the books (free). After your intake is reviewed you may be included in our pool and introduced to members. No introductions are promised.
• In the room ($55.55/month). One seat at a monthly sunday table, the groundwork guide, and member pricing for reveal nights. Unused seats don't roll over.
• In good hands (+$300/month). A call with a matchmaker, an active search, and at least one introduction per month, each with a stated reason, plus follow-up after each date.
• Couples ($77.77/month). Guides and support for partners working on conflict and repair.

Billing and cancelling

Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel within three business days for a full refund, and month to month at any time after that. If we don't provide your promised introductions for two months in a row, you may cancel and receive a refund as described in your rights. Reveal night tickets, and table seats beyond the one included, are separate and optional.

Introductions and waiting

We only introduce people we believe are a thoughtful fit. If we can't find a good introduction in a given month, we'll tell you honestly. You can pause your plan instead of paying while you wait. If you decline three introductions in a row, we may ask for a call to recalibrate.

Distance and moving away

The travel distance you choose in your intake is part of your agreement, and we won't introduce you to anyone who lives beyond it. If you move to live permanently outside the New York City area, you may cancel at any time and we'll refund any month you've paid for but not started.

No guarantee of outcome

We promise effort and honesty: every member is interviewed, and every introduction has a reason. We cannot promise chemistry, a relationship, or any particular result.

Safety and conduct

You are responsible for your own safety when meeting anyone. We may pause or remove any member who breaks the Code of Conduct, without a refund for time already used where the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll tell members about important changes before they take effect.
